Upon the commencement of a project, we achieve a thorough understanding of the client opportunity and the objective of making a lateral hire.

A document is compiled that demonstrates the structure of the parallel departments in the competition. Highlighting who the primary and secondary targets are within those teams then filters this document, which is reviewed with the client.

Once the final target group is agreed FT Consulting will approach all of the Primary targets then revert to secondary targets when appropriate as not to make concurrent approaches to people in the same teams, thus keeping the role exclusive.

We then arrange to meet each target personally and discuss with them their own career, its current merits, any negatives and their future goals.

The role is presented accurately and comprehensively, demonstrating all of the tangible benefits of the approach, bringing the professional to a fully informed level, therefore allowing them to make a considered decision as to whether or not to progress to a 1st client meeting.

A short list of the attracted professionals who wish to be considered is then presented to the client and an agreed meeting schedule will be followed.

We support the agreed meeting schedule in our role as a discreet 3rd party; assisting through assessment, negotiation and transition as required.

We provide straightforward advice to both parties at all times whilst making the process as efficient and enjoyable as possible.

FT Consulting provide complete confidentiality for client and professional alike with a dedicated 24 hour contact from FT Consulting available to both parties. This is supported by 3rd party locations to host meetings in all of the major international centres.
